During installation, the mounting clamps (Hose Clamps) must be securely tightened and the PCV ventilation lines connected carefully; any vacuum leak or minor crack that allows unmetered air (Unmetered Air) to enter past the sensor will immediately cause RPM fluctuations (RPM), a rough engine idle (Rough Idle), and a loss of turbo boost along with triggering the Check Engine light.
