Important Technical Note: This molding (Applique) is mounted directly onto the front fender arch right above the tire. Its primary function is to protect the vehicle's metal body from scratches, flying mud, and gravel, while completing the aerodynamic profile that connects the front bumper trim to the side door moldings. Please note that sports and high-end trims (such as RS and Premier) may come with color-matched or gloss black (Glossy) moldings, whereas this aftermarket product comes in the standard textured matte black appearance compatible with LS and LT trims, and can be prepped and painted if necessary. Installation relies on integrated snap clips. It is highly recommended to clean the metal fender edge of dust and any broken remnants of old clips before snapping the new piece in to ensure it sits perfectly flat and without any panel gaps (Gaps).
