Installation requires a high-quality, high-heat, and oil-resistant sealant (RTV Silicone Gasket Maker). The oil pan bolts must be tightened in a cross/star pattern (Star Pattern) using a torque wrench (Torque Wrench) to prevent stripping or cracking the aluminum flanges and to guarantee no future oil leaks.
