Important Technical Note: The lower radiator insulator bushing (Insulator) is a vital component for protecting the engine water radiator and A/C condenser. It functions to absorb road shocks and engine vibrations, preventing the radiator from shifting loosely. If these bushings are damaged or lost during a front-end collision or front-end disassembly, it will cause the radiator to rub directly against the steel chassis crossmember. This can lead to cracking of the plastic radiator end tanks or puncturing the aluminum cooling fins, causing sudden coolant leaks. It is highly recommended to inspect these bushings and always replace them as a pair (right and left sides) when installing a new radiator to ensure it sits perfectly balanced at the bottom.
