Description
Serpentine Belt (Aftermarket) — Dodge Charger / Challenger / Chrysler 300 (HEMI V8 5.7L / 6.4L)
The Serpentine Belt is the high-strength component responsible for transferring rotational power from the main crankshaft pulley to vital engine accessories on the HEMI 5.7L and 6.4L V8 engines (including the alternator, water pump, and A/C compressor). Given the intense thermal and mechanical stress generated in high-performance 8-cylinder engines, these premium aftermarket belts are crafted from advanced, heavy-duty EPDM rubber formulations. This compound is engineered to withstand extreme heat cycles while minimizing belt vibration and operational noise, ensuring reliable under-hood performance even in demanding driving conditions.

Technical Note: On HEMI engines, the serpentine belt is the most accessible yet critical element of routine engine maintenance. If you notice a "glazed" or shiny look on the inner ribbed side of the belt (indicating the rubber has hardened and become smooth) or hear a squealing noise under acceleration, the belt has lost its grip.
Pro Tip: While changing the belt, always manually spin the Idler and Tensioner Pulleys. If a pulley makes a rough, grinding sound or has play when turned by hand, installing a brand-new belt will not solve the issue. In fact, a faulty pulley will quickly damage the new belt, leading to premature failure.

Warranty and Return Policy at zoautoparts.com
At Zeyad Al Obaidi Car Spare Parts Trading, we are committed to providing diverse options that suit our customers' needs for American vehicles (Jeep, Dodge, Ford, and Chevrolet). Because we offer genuine, aftermarket, and used parts, we have detailed our warranty policy to ensure clarity and transparency for everyone:
1. Part Categories and Warranty Periods
The warranty period and type vary based on the condition of the sold part, as stated on the invoice:
- Genuine Parts (OEM):Covered against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's (dealer's) policy.Period: [7 Days ] from the invoice date.
- Aftermarket / Replacement Parts:Covered against manufacturing defects only.Period: [5 days] from the invoice date.Note: Aftermarket exterior body and modification parts (such as front bumpers, grilles, and hoods) must undergo a fitment test on the vehicle before painting. Any part that has been painted immediately loses its eligibility for return or exchange.
- Used Parts:Used parts are sold with a "Startup/Operating Warranty" only.Period: [ 10 days] from the date of receipt. If the used part is an engine (such as EcoBoost for 4-cylinder models or others), the operating warranty ensures the engine is free from knocking sounds, abnormal oil consumption, or overheating during initial startup, provided it is installed immediately upon receipt within the specified warranty timeframe.
2. General Warranty Conditions
- Nature of Business: We are a commercial spare parts trading company and do not provide repair or installation services. Therefore, the customer must verify the required part and bears the responsibility of choosing a specialized technical workshop for installation.
- Proof of Purchase: No warranty claim will be considered without the original invoice (paper or electronic).
- Authorized Installation: To maintain the validity of the warranty (for genuine, aftermarket, and used parts), installation must be performed at a workshop specialized in American cars. An installation invoice and a technical report detailing the defect must be provided when claiming compensation.
3. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty completely excludes the following cases:
- Consumable Parts: (e.g., brake pads, belts, filters, spark plugs, and oils).
- Electrical and Electronic Parts: (e.g., sensors, computers, and wiring harnesses), especially used or aftermarket ones. These cannot be returned once the packaging is opened or installed due to the high risk of damage from electrical short circuits in the customer's vehicle.
- Installation Damage: Any breakage or damage resulting from incorrect installation or using the part in an incompatible vehicle (mismatched VIN).
- Incidental Costs: The company does not bear any additional fees or costs paid by the customer (e.g., workshop labor fees, towing costs, or any damage caused to the vehicle by the part). The warranty is strictly limited to the value of the purchased part only.
4. Exchange and Return Mechanism
- Contact customer service with your order number and a copy of the invoice.
- Provide a technical report from the workshop proving the defect, along with photos or a video of the part (especially for used parts to document their condition).
- The part must be returned in the exact condition it was received (new and aftermarket parts must be in their original, undamaged packaging). For used parts, our thermal stamps, security seals, or markings must not be tampered with or removed.
- The customer bears the return shipping costs. Upon verification, the part will be replaced with a matching one, or the amount will be refunded if a replacement is unavailable in our inventory.
