Highly Important Technical Note (2025-2026 Trim Updates & 5th Gen DT): Please note that RAM 1500 trucks underwent a comprehensive and major facelift update (Facelift) starting from the 2024/2025 models through the current 2026 models, which included changes to the engines, bumpers, and rear accessory layouts. This cover is engineered down to the millimeter to match the specific tow hitch receiver (Hitch Receiver) opening cut found on updated 5th generation (DT) rear bumpers. It absolutely does not fit RAM Classic models or older RAM generations due to completely different opening dimensions.

Part Function: The function of this cover (Hook Plug / Cap) is essential for maintaining the truck's clean appearance and the rear bumper's aerodynamic lines; it seals the metal tow hitch receiver cavity when a trailer hitch is not in use. This cover protects the inner receiver opening and the adjacent trailer wiring harness plug from mud, sand, car wash water, and salt accumulation that causes rust and electrical connector corrosion. Installation is direct and extremely easy via a snap-on system (Snap-on / Friction Fit) without needing any screws or tools. It includes a flexible inner security tab or lanyard to prevent the cover from falling off or getting lost during off-road driving or car washes.

How to Submit a Claim
