EVAP Charcoal Vapor Canister - Jeep Grand Cherokee Genuine OEM Used (Part Number: 68414928AA)
Genuine factory OEM used evaporative emissions charcoal vapor canister (fuel tank carbon canister / EVAP system canister) in excellent and very clean condition. Compatible with the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee (WL) models—including both the standard 2-row and the 3-row L variants—for 2021 to 2026 models. It traps and stores raw fuel vapors escaping from the gas tank, safely rerouting them back into the engine intake manifold for combustion to reduce environmental emissions and optimize fuel economy in accordance with factory specifications.

Technical Note: The charcoal canister functions as the absolute heart of the Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system. Failure or internal clogging of this component often occurs when liquid fuel enters the canister—typically caused by repeatedly overfilling the fuel tank after the gas station pump nozzle automatically clicks "Full." This fuel saturation triggers highly frustrating symptoms, most notably: extreme difficulty refueling (where the gas pump nozzle constantly cuts off or clicks off prematurely), a strong raw fuel odor lingering around the vehicle, erratic engine idling, and an illuminated dashboard check engine light (CEL) accompanied by EVAP system leak or restriction diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). This canister assembly has been meticulously inspected at our salvage facility; it underwent rigorous leak testing to verify a completely airtight seal against vapor escape, and all line ports and the integrated pressure sensor mount are confirmed undamaged. Furthermore, the internal carbon bed is verified free of saturation or charcoal breakdown, ensuring smooth refueling stops and permanent clearing of emission codes, fitting into place with millimeter precision.
